Carbon Extraction from Ashes or Hair

Once we receive your package, we begin the delicate process of carbon extraction. During cremation, most carbon is burned off, but a small portion (1–5%) remains. Our team purifies this remaining carbon — the essential ingredient in your cremation diamond.
This step is critical. It ensures the carbon we use is pure, clean, and ready to be transformed into a real diamond.

Step 2
Step 3

Growing One of a Kind Diamond

We then turn the ashes into diamonds using High Pressure, High Temperature (HPHT) technology that mimics how natural diamonds form deep within the earth.

✔️ We combine your loved one’s carbon with a diamond seed

✔️ Subject it to over 900°C and 60 kilobars of pressure

✔️ Over several weeks, the carbon crystallizes into a genuine diamond

Because every individual’s carbon is unique, each diamond is one of a kind. Our experienced scientists fine-tune the temperature and pressure for every diamond we grow — ensuring that your loved one’s ashes diamond is as beautiful as their memory.

Your process is captured on video, so you can witness the care and precision behind your memorial diamond.

Polishing the Diamond

Once the diamond has formed, we inspect it under high magnification to check for clarity and quality.
Our team of master cutters — with decades of experience — carefully cut and polish your cremation diamond to bring out its natural brilliance. Every cut is made with the intent to reflect your love in its sparkle.
We won’t move to the next step until the diamond is truly stunning.

Step 4
Step 5

Certification and Laser Inscription

Every diamond made from ashes can be sent to independent gemologists for verification. If selected, they assess clarity, cut, and color, and issue a certificate of authenticity confirming it’s a genuine, lab-grown diamond.

You can also personalise your memorial diamond with:

✔️ Laser engraving: Add a name, date, or meaningful message directly onto the diamond

✔️ Color options: Choose from red, green, pink, yellow, blue, black, or timeless colorless — to reflect your loved one’s spirit

Each choice adds a unique and heartfelt touch to your cremation diamond.

Final Step: Ashes to Diamond Setting

Once your cremation diamond is complete, you can choose to have it set into a piece of jewelry — or receive it loose for future use.

Our jewelry experts can help you design a handmade piece, or you can choose from our curated collection of settings.

  • Rings, pendants, earrings, and bracelets
  • Free gold setting included for diamonds 0.75 ct or larger
  • Custom designs welcomed — just share your idea or sketch

This is the final transformation — a precious diamond set into something you can wear or hold close forever.
